Legal User Support Specialist #16373725

This individual is responsible for providing high quality help desk support for attorneys and professional staff. We are seeking an individual who is technically savvy, with strong communication skills and an interest in developing relationships within the IT team and firm. The organization has a well-developed IT infrastructure and training is provided to further technical skills. This firm is accessible by public transportation and offers very strong benefits competitive within the legal market.  The salary range is between $75,000 - $90,000.

Candidates should be knowledgeable primarily on application specific questions; with software troubleshooting being much more prevalent than hardware or other type of troubleshooting.

DUTIES:
  • Troubleshooting End User/ IT related issues via ticketing system, telephone or email
  • Entering calls into the Help Desk Tracking System and assisting with problems raised by users for all Firm standard software systems
  • Attending training on systems to understand common legal software used
  • Learn and manage AV Set up
  • Build and deploy user machines
  • Test MS OS system patches for Windows

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of Help Desk/Desktop Support experience within a professional services environment
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Microsoft Word Power User
  • Strong spelling & grammar skills
  • Experience supporting Windows environments
  • Experience supporting MS Office
  • Experience entering support calls in to the Help Desk tracking system
  • Experience with a document and email management software
  • Experience supporting remote access using (Citrix and VPN)
  • Ability to support mobile devices: iPhone, Android and other devices as needed
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn applications quickly
  • Commitment to excellence in a team environment
  • Should be able to lift approximately 25 Lbs
  • Should be able to work extensively at a keyboard using a mouse
  • Should be able to set up new desktop systems which may require accessing area underneath desks and tables
  • Positive demeanor
