Our client, a banking institution in Livermore, CA is looking for an experienced IT Operations Junior Lead to join their team. Ideal candidates will be able to maintain the company’s core system and back office processes as well as associated third-party applications to ensure the efficient and secure processing of member transactions. The hourly pay rate is $27.00 - $37.00.
REQUIREMENTS
System Maintenance and Updates:
- Administer the organization’s core system and third-party applications, including the installation and management of software updates in production and test environments.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Communicate system changes clearly and effectively to management and staff.
System Optimization:
- Evaluate the stability and performance of the core system and associated applications.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency.
Technical Support:
- Provide expert technical support to employees and third-party vendors both locally and remotely.
- Resolve system-related inquiries via in-person assistance, telephone, email, and helpdesk platforms.
Document and Report Management:
- Administer the archive system for core system and application reports, ensuring proper indexing, retrieval, and research as needed.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with departments and branches to ensure efficient operations and seamless service delivery.
- Foster a professional and collaborative environment that promotes positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Knowledge Development:
- Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s products, services, and policies.
- Ensure all actions comply with applicable Federal and State laws, credit union regulations, and organizational policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in an applicable field
- 3-5 years of work experience in a Specialist III or similar role required.
- Proficiency with Windows 7, 8 and 10 and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
- Must have experience using the Jack Henry software Symitar Episys
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and operating systems such as Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
- Proficiency in administering VMWare virtual environment.
- Knowledgeable of current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.
- Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Excellent creative and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
- Certifications in MCITP or MCSE, VCP, CCNA, A+ and/or Network+ is highly desired.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May be tasked with lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., if able to do so.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for moderate periods of time.
- Must be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently
- Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
