Lead Producer

Our client is looking for a Lead Producer to join their team on a full-time basis. This individual will be in charge of developing and leading a team of enthusiastic engineers along with promoting an open culture of creativity.  This job collaborates with the other department heads (such as Engineering, Marketing, and Product) and reports to the Director of Production.  Execution, planning, scheduling, process implementation, and contact with external licensors and development partners are the main areas of concentration for this position.

  • Lead the development and design planning, serve as the principal product owner, oversee execution from concept to live, and take responsibility for milestone delivery and quality.
  • Work together with the company's executive team and the heads of each department to decide what should come first when it comes to creating new features, content, tools, and bug fixes.
  • In order to scope and prioritize features, identify and resolve dependencies, shepherd forward development, and enforce accountability, work with engineering, design, and art.
  • Work together with the development team to make sure that specific objectives are set for milestones and met during development.
  • Plan and oversee content development and pipeline creation in collaboration with project managers and production staff.
  • Communicate with partners and external licensors.
  • Make block schedules and project roadmaps that give the team a direct line of sight to completing upcoming objectives.
  • As the team size grows over time, collaborate with team leads to establish and drive new development processes, improve existing ones, and give the team the tools they need to operate more efficiently.
  • Promote the team by developing a solid environment of self-determination, empowerment, and accountability.
  • Promote the project's vision among team members and external stakeholders, including partners.
  • Initiate and/or lead weekly team meetings, planning sessions for milestones, build reviews, playtests, brainstorming sessions, feature kickoffs, and retrospectives.
  • Obtain feedback from the team and deliver it effectively and constructively, along with comments and solutions for improvement as needed.

  • 5+ years of experience working as a producer, product manager, or in a similar capacity
  • Designing features for the F2P market with experience
  • Strong knowledge of and experience dealing with content creators, such as designers and illustrators.
  • A track record of leading cross-team projects and working with cross-team individuals.
  • Knowledge of leading and managing self-directing, powerful cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of the manufacturing and lifecycle processes for software
  • Ability to recognize production hazards and proactively mitigate them has been demonstrated.
  • Able to efficiently connect with people from many disciplines, such as engineering, art, design, audio, and QA
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence from Atlassian.
  • Bonus: shows a thorough awareness of the trends in multiplayer and free-to-play mobile games.
  • Bonus: knowledge of multitasking in a starting scenario.
  • Bonus: a desire to follow and participate in new P2E and NFT gaming trends.
  • Bonus: experience with Jira and Confluence from Atlassian.

  • May be tasked with lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., if able to do so.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for moderate periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently
  • Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
